You can join me for a special Earth Day event with the Los Angeles Public Library

I will be chatting with a cool group of librarians next Thursday, April 22, 2022 - Earth Day. You are invited and I would love to see you there. You can ask questions and have the chance to win one of my books.

I am thrilled to be able to sit down with a group of librarians to discuss the themes and issues that are addressed in my series Plastic Girl. April 22nd is also the released day of the second book of the series, Plastic Girl: Extinction. Besides getting into the process of writing this series and creating comics, we will also discuss new programming I am putting together around climate, citizen science and being a DIY Naturalist.

My daughters and I are going to go to the Earth Crisis event beforehand to demand more urgent action on climate change. Afterwards, I will be talking shop with these amazing librarians and anyone who joins us online, and then for the rest of the weekend I’ll be at booth #194 at Los Angeles Times Festival of the Books.
